Innovation in Action
Four Technology Partners Live at K 2025

SPS | Solids Process Solutions will be at K 2025 (8–15 October 2025, Düsseldorf, Germany) – together with four long-standing technology partners. Alongside ECON GmbH, Inspection Technologies (Inspec.Tech), Kubota Brabender Technologie GmbH, and Bay Plastics Machinery (BPM), we will showcase practical innovations in pelletizing, inspection, and feeding. Visit us at the following stands:
ECON GmbH – Hall 9, Stand C30
Underwater pelletizing & cleaning—live on the show floor
- EPO-N Pyrolysis Cleaning Oven (Next Generation)
The new generation, available in multiple sizes, features an intuitive HMI and nitrogen-assisted pyrolysis technology for even more sustainable and safe tooling cleaning. - ECONia – Intelligent automation system
Fully automated underwater pelletizing with centralized control of 10+ lines for maximum uptime and minimal operator intervention. - Live demo
Real-time underwater pelletizing of polypropylene with 20–30% glass fiber for a robust, reproducible process and consistent pellet quality.
Inspection Technologies (Inspec.Tech) – Hall 10, Stand H13
Continuous pellet inspection and sorting.
- Daily live demonstrations of a complete inspection and sorting system that automatically detects contaminants, contour deviations, tails, size variations, and color differences—and ejects off-spec pellets in real time.
- Why it matters
Compact, cost-effective, and easy to integrate into existing lines. Operators receive alerts and process data, can benchmark production against a golden reference, and benefit from predictive maintenance with less unplanned downtime. - Key features
No moving mechanical parts (no drive, conveyor, or vibratory chute), capacity up to 9 t/h inspection and 3 t/h sorting, fast clean-down, and an intuitive interface with flexible criteria.
Kubota Brabender Technologie GmbH – Hall 10, Stand A27
Reliable feeding—even for very poorly flowing powders.
- FlexWall single-screw feeders for a wide range of powders, fibers, flakes, and granules, plus the NXT twin-screw feeder engineered for very poorly flowing powders.
- Benefits
Stable feeding performance up to approx. 2,000 dm³/h thanks to an innovative hopper geometry with a negative wall angle and diagonal agitator. This prevents bridging, promotes mass flow to the screws, and boosts process reliability—resulting in less downtime and lower operating expenses.
Bay Plastics Machinery (BPM) – Hall 10, Stand F10
String pelletizing at every scale
- BT25X
Compact 25 mm granulator for laboratory applications. - BP50
Proven 50 mm granulator for production lines. - AXP08
Robust 200 mm granulator for heavy-duty production environments. - Smart Control Unit
Visual HMI with end-to-end process parameters (line speed, rotor speed, pellet length), activity logs (including logins and emergency stops), trend tracking, maintenance training videos, and remote troubleshooting capabilities.
